Not sure if we can pre-book seats as we booked via Opodo, plan is to stay at Gatwick the night before and check in as early as we can to secure setas together.

Yep, back in the UK to tie up the loose ends... We're lucky enough to have enough equity to purchase a nice house, cars etc for cash, within a few months though we'll need to find work.

4 months, holy sh1t, that's a long wait, fingers crossed it'll be a bit quicker.

That said it's a done deal now so at least you don't have the fear of rejection, that was certainly the biggest...

So assuming you haven't been a naughty boy and been in trouble with the police and that your meds are okay then passport requests should be next, no ideas how long they're taking at the moment...

STC - glad things are moving along for you, I'm a bit confused what stage you're at though, you say you handed in passports then mention about passport requests next?

Oh I assumed we'd just go through the 'normal' immigration desk and then get forwarded somewhere else?

Anyone have experience of landing procedure at Calgary?

We're due to land on 23rd April, so I'll report back then.

That said I'm going through all kinds of emotions at the moment, one day I'm 100% up for it, next day 50/50, I need this trip to relight...

I'm just doing mine on an Excel spreadsheet, from what I've read it doesn't have to be on the official forms.

But yes just staple them together, sure that'll be fine.
