Prices are getting so high in parts of California, people are waking up to empty gas tanks and a hole in their gas tank, parts of California have gone over $6 per US gallon, which has never happened,...

The refinery in Burnaby that provides roughly 33% of the lower mainland's fuel is out of crude oil and has stopped processing and gone into standby mode,.

Not Intelcom and in the US, but I doubt it's much if any different in Canada based on the Intelcom reviews and the ex-Amazon drivers I used to work with, unrealistic expectations, not drinking water...

Not sure about places like Intelecom as to how they get paid, but for those who do Amazon flex in Vancouver or Toronto for example, Amazon has batches on their app, X packages for X amount, Amazon...

Looks to be holding steady around 87-92 cents the Vancouver area.

Too bad gas can't really be hoarded long term, the prices right now I can't remember the last time they were this low.

$1.94 is a bit of a decrease from some stations last week that were $2.00.

The husky on Marine Dr a couple blocks before the bridge going to the airport was $1.59 this morning, if I I had money...

One station in Delta today was spotted at $1.78. Apparently increase in price is on the way for middle of the week.

Even the highest gas tax state in the US doesn't come close to our taxes per liter.

State+federal in California works out to be 18.4 per liter.

To think 15 ish years ago, I commuted 90 minutes from Milwaukee area to O'hare for $9 per hour and still came out ahead vs paying higher rent in Chicago lol

Its about 27 hours of labor per month to cover the cost of gas and insurance for the commute. (pre-deduction labor) Just not a fan of so many work hours going just to cover the commute costs.

It 94 grade at Chevron, but first time I have seen any grade of gas hit $2 per liter mark.

The stations in my area are all $1.69.9 today.

Looking at gas buddy I see a couple lower stations in Vancouver at $1.63 and a few at $1.59.

At $1.70/liter even a sub compact like a Mazda 2...

Anywhere from $1.62 to $1.68 around my area in Vancouver.

Using gas buddy, seems Surrey and Langley are all over the place as low as $1.41 and as high as $1.69.

Time to find a scooter...
