I now live in a tourist area of Toronto...its downtown but lakeside. There are many cycle lanes...but they do not observe the cycle traffic lights and often come sailing through red lights at speed.

Sorry to say I've never had a bike...my parents couldn't afford one...(beside Sheffield was so hilly :lol:). I lie...I did have one when my daughter was about 9 but I had great difficulty using it....

Apart from running red lights...they jump on and off crossroads, pedestrian crossings etc at will. They also run the red bicycle lights. Here they ride at...

I hate frogs. I think it's the jumping I don't like. We used to get bull frogs sitting by the pool croaking away all night. Hubby used to catch them and take them to a nearby lake...but I swear...

I didn't mind watching them crawl up the windows or patio doors...from the inside. I am errrr...slightly bug phobic...the big NJ bugs grossed me out as did the lizards and bull frogs that used to...

When we lived in NJ I used to peg washing out. It was short lived as one day I found a 6" long praying mantis walking across an item of clothing. That was the last time I dried washing outside.

I agree. When I lived in the U.K. the man size tissues were the only tissues I bought. Fortunately I can buy them here in Toronto.

From what I remember it was constructed to be permanent...but it was so confusing it had a short shelf life. What a waste of money...anyone with 2 brain cells would have known it was doomed for...

It was in the 70's near the uni. I thought it was constricted to be a permanent layout but I could be wrong. Anyway it didn't last very long. :lol:
