Just watched a reno programme here. People are turning their noses up at dated or 70s houses! Why? A wall paper strip and a coat or two of paint, plus your own furniture will work wonders...

Re: Vash's Update Thread

Mate - my 4 year old daughter gives the best hugs - she really does. She's a little cutie and she knows it. She's got me around her little finger.

Just think - one day she'll probably decide her...

Re: Vash's Update Thread

Our kids never really got that sick to be honest - and even if they were, they still breast-fed. Another thing, our kids never spewed like some kids - or to be exact, had reflux or wind issues. (That...

Re: Vash's Update Thread

You're a lucky bloke mate.

What's her general view on this Australian lark? Do you expect her to have any wobbles? Have you discussed this - and any tactics you might use? I'm genuinely quite...

Re: Vash's 11-day update

Will be fantastic. You can preserve as much character as you like - and a paint and plaster job will do wonders. (Nothing wrong with the bath really). In fact, it's all some rooms will need.

That...

Re: Vash's 11-day update

It's got a lot of character. The street reminds me of an established avenue from the UK.

Keep us posted!

Re: Vash's 11-day update

Some newer Australian blocks are not much bigger than that Vash!

Nice house mate - I'd be happy with that. Sensibly small mortgage too. That will help make your life in Australia a lot easier too.
