The aeroplan site just shows you availability for awards flights.

US airways requires 120k miles for a business flight and it is US airways you have to buy the miles from and...

regarding seats OH booked upstairs on the 747 (BKK-LHR and vice versa) row 16a or b are good seats as they are exit rows or 16 f or j? you will need to fill out a visa on the plane if you are going...

Must say a big thankyou BCworld. I booked a return flight to UK for OH going on your info. He loved it...massages, champaigne, too much food and just generally spoilt!!

Twas slightly unfair though...

Booked my seats today with Thai whilst looking at seatguru.
Total cost of my ticket came to $2450 AUD when converted from USD inc of all taxes,charges,FX conversion etc.

Gotta be happy with...

Defo, some of the operators are clueless!!

The first one i spoke to last week had everything done in about 10 mins...but my points weren't available and she couldn't hold flights for 3 days

well, booked mine today (waited 12 days just in case!)

Went business (120,000 miles) but the operator confirmed i would be going 1st class woohoo - asked her to confirm this so fingers...

OH and daughter are flying airasia x (booked before christmas at $900 each) but i have only just been authorised the time off so will be flying on my own.

to book you need to speak to US airways on the number on their website who will then book you onto a flight with Thai Airways from...
