Talking of mint (and serendipity). Out of the blue, someone gave us a whole butchered lamb for $100 yesterday. That should keep up busy for a while.

I sometimes wonder about the use of VB cases as currency.

I wonder if there are cases from the 1980s still in circulation. :D

I thought mint was used for lamb. Which for a country with so many sheep is incredibly expensive :blink:

Not sure. I'm blessed with onions at the mo. Last year I picked up 10kgs for 99c which seems rather expensive now :(

I know this is cheating but I usually buy beef by the 1/8th of a cow so it all costs $5 a kilo, even the T-bone.

Helga's is $2.29 in our local Safeway. Cheaper than 6 years ago and you don't have to buy a brace. :thumbup:

$6 of chips still costs the same as $6 of chips cost 6 years ago. :thumbup:
