Do you mean a slow correction? I don't know if any bubble's have done this. I'd be interested to hear if there were any though.

Maybe house price bubbles do deflate rather than pop due to the...

Negative, ALL bubbles burst. If they don't burst then they weren't a bubble in the first place.

Don't forget though, they would have also paid about $60k stamp duty, (maybe more) on buying the house and another hit on their subsequent purchase. So it adds up to over $300k hit. Ouch!

Already happening in Perth, no point arguing IF it's going to happen.

In my street alone there are 1 property and a block that have been on the market for ages, the house has had price reductions...
