the water has been within 30 cm of that bridge your standing on. that about20 metres higher than it is today. have a look in the museum some time.

my wifes boss is very ill at the moment. hes being tested for dengue and ross river fever. hell be ok though as he lives in port douglas and nothing bad ever happens there.
