Don't think Vancouver is special this is usual in small town Ontario, specifically Guelph, and in Toronto. I imagine it's the same across Canada though less obvious in winter.

I think the devil is in the detail. At the moment weed is freely available, quality varies and a specific strain may not always be in stock but anyone who fancies a joint can pop out and get one....

Won't it be less available after legalization than now? Presumably there will be some sort of government store, like the LCBO, which opens limited hours. If your stash runs out at 2am on Monday...
