There are several of them but, being married to an Irish woman, I don't go to plastic paddy bars. She especially hates being in one and hearing "I love your accent, where are you from?".

Note that on New Year's Eve they close at eight. We know that because we stood, unfed, while people who had tables offered us scraps.

Lahore Kabob has good food but it's not licensed. We used to pick up food from there and eat it in the Yard.

In Toronto there are still a few along Gerrard, in the Indian Bazaar, though the fabulous BBQ Hut is now, sort of, closed. We go to the Coriander Kitchen in Orangeville which is very good indeed.
