When you pay your money in in £ using your London Account Number it goes into a UK savings account. You need to let them know if you want to leave it there or they will convert it and transfer it all...

Having looked at the last few years, historically the pound often gets stronger in the UK summer.

Have a look at the bbc graph for the last 12 months...
