Just tell the Doctor you're stressed, that's generally enough, GP's don't like to pry too deeply into Mental health usually. You've probably got a GP that does the right thing by you already...

Bugger that, not sure what work your wife does, but if it were mine, I'd be suggesting that means a couple of Sunday Shifts.

I actually had a similar experience way back when, I had a hernia op, whilst working with post and had over 3 weeks off. The boss, by that I mean manager of the facility, came around to make sure...
