You can do double shifts as a Mental Health Nurse, but not every day. There are no set figures that my wife is aware of. She's been a Psychiatric nurse for over 25 years now.

Yes they do double shifts a hell of a lot in the Psychiatric wards in Melbourne. Then some go on to agency work on top of that on the weekends.

Simply put, that penalty rate cut is aimed and targeted at the very poorest workers in the community.... Female weekend workers. Hence the campaign. It will get major support and it will end this...
