My view is Poms are definitely warmly welcomed here. The vast majority of Aussies... well over 90 pct of people seem to feel that way as far as I'm concerned.

One thing WA has you can't buy though, and it could be viewed as a plus for some at least, especially if your travelling and camping for free.... Lack of people.

Novelty would wear off fairly...

Just inspired me, We may go there again in June, cant really go too far away from our 17yo so that'll do nicely. It's really good there in the Winter IMO. Probably the only state properly geared...

I doubt I've got one person I could call a friend in the UK now.... Plenty of family. Plus in relation to people moving that had started before I moved away from the UK. Sure distance is a issue...

Ask yourself this though, from my point of view if were suddenly displaced back to the UK I'd feel like I was far away from everything that was important to me, especially after 35 years of living...
