Re: UK TV Programs

We liked those too.

Has anyone seen Dublin Murders? I've got it lined up, but not had time to see it yet.

Re: UK TV Programs

I think the special, doesn't stand up as a stand alone. Too much of it follows on from the story lines in the last couple of series. I don't think I'd have enjoyed the show as much if I'd jumped in...

Re: UK TV Programs

Any Christmas specials?

We saw the Gavin and Stacey one last night and rather enjoyed it. Kind of felt like it took off pretty much how the characters left off.

Re: UK TV Programs

After a bit of a slow start to the series, it got quite compelling. We're enjoying it too. Certainly an odd character.

Re: UK TV Programs

Requiem...spooky drama, set in Wales. Finally getting around to watching it and despite the reviews, I'm enjoying it. The missus, not so much. It is quite dark though.

Has anyone seen Action Team?...

Re: UK TV Programs

Collateral, was a great little drama. All nicely comes together with a fair bit of intrigue. Much better than Trauma.

Re: UK TV Programs

Collateral, that's on the list to watch. Gave "Trauma", a go instead, the other sides medical drama.

I can see why it's getting panned a bit. It's about a person who's kid is stabbed and dies in...

Re: UK TV Programs

McMafia

Very cheesy, but I rather enjoyed that. Russian family living in London, with old mob ties and past catching up with the family.

Re: UK TV Programs

Bancroft....I know it got panned in the reviews, but we really enjoyed this 4 part cop drama.

Nice bit of a back story brewing and intrigue to keep it going for a second series if it were given...

Re: UK TV Programs

Strike Back...It's back for another series as a bit of a reboot, with basically an entirely new set of characters. Same, cheesy, fighty stuff, but it's quite amusing all the same.

Re: UK TV Programs

The Last Post, just finished a 6 part series so I've been binge watching this. It's about a group of Brit MP's in Aden, just as things kick off. Really compelling stuff.

Robot Wars, also back and...

Re: UK TV Programs

A couple episodes in, and I kind of enjoyed it. Each week is a different accident and location with a different group of engineers. The first was the plane crash, the second was a mountain landslide.

Re: UK TV Programs

Has anyone seen Escape? It's a C4 reality show, chucking a bunch of engineers on a deserted island with a staged plane crash, so see what they can create to survive.

Re: UK TV Programs

Seemed to have taken off where it left off and still rather cheesy but fun.

Doctor Foster, it's a okay second series but not as gripping as the first series.

Stella, is back for another series,...

Re: UK TV Programs

Liar....is quite an interesting drama, revolves around a he said, she said, rape case.

Lego Masters....this is rather a lot of fun. Bake Off, but making things out of Lego, with a good mix of...

Re: UK TV Programs

Riviera...10 episodes, which we just started watching and liking. A little cheesy. Basically a rich woman suddenly finds out her husband who was killed was a bit of a shady character and has to take...

Re: UK TV Programs

A slew of new shows that it's hard to keep up.

Paula, a 3 part drama. Very weird, but I kind of liked it. The missus wasn't quite as sure. It's definitely not sure if it's a spooky show or a more...

Re: UK TV Programs

Clique...it's a couple of episodes in and a Beeb drama. I think they're trying for a bit of Channel 5 smut. It's not that great.

Replacement, a 3 part Beeb drama. Not seen it yet but it sounds...

Re: UK TV Programs

We ended up binge watching the first two episodes last night and rather enjoyed it.

Certainly of a different time though :D

Also after a slow start, we're enjoying Broadchurch.

Anyone catch Prime Suspect 1973?

A couple of episodes in I think. Jane Tennison, as a new cop.

Re: UK TV Programs

Yes, but it's pretty much a straight follow on to the first series. It weren't bad, but took a few episodes to get into it if you didn't see repeats of the first series.

I think I'll wait a couple...

Re: UK TV Programs

Rather liked the new Sherlock. Three episode series.

Also liked the Christmas special of the British Bake Off, as daft as it was.

The Roald Dahl, special was also quite cute.

We still have a...
