Re: US Spouse, UK Move, uncertainty on Green Card

Re: US Spouse, UK Move, uncertainty on Green Card

Me again, it also seems that as per the same link I can still fast track the process after the biometrics as it only states 'you must pay for the priority visa service online on the VFS Global...

Re: US Spouse, UK Move, uncertainty on Green Card

Thank you both and that is correct, I have the savings so it appears all I will need is bank statements showing I've held the funds for 6 months +, which seems rather straightforward.

Also, I understand the process takes 12 weeks (approx) does that mean from the date the application is received in Sheffield or the date we submitted the...

Re: US Spouse, UK Move, uncertainty on Green Card

Ah I see. The problem is that once you actually start an application that page never appears again, so that instruction was totally absent. Thank you!

As two of you have said though, what still...

Re: US Spouse, UK Move, uncertainty on Green Card

Yes that's right, there is no link at all to Appendix 2, nor any mention of financial requirements. The only info they needed on me was my passport details and other basic stuff. Maybe it now comes...

Re: US Spouse, UK Move, uncertainty on Green Card

I honestly can't see any link to it. The form BritInParis linked appears to be a hard copy one you have to print and submit, but all the fields we've completed are electronic. Could it be the process...

Re: US Spouse, UK Move, uncertainty on Green Card

That's odd, nothing appeared and it is now saying the application is complete and asking us to book an appointment to submit biometric data. Did we do something wrong? Not sure how as there were no...
