If I were you, do it on your own, than waiting for your Mp or lawyer to inquire about the status of your application. It is better to send email than calling base on my experience.

Same with me,had a decision on the 2nd of oct and went to vfs hong kong but was told they don't have my passport yet. Sent an email again and was informed it will take within 10 working days for me...

We are the same, was told my application had been decided on oct 2 and I went to the centre as well. They said it will take within 10 wd to get my passport back.
