Forgot to say, antibiotics were only about 5€ to buy without script subsidy. Would probably have been best part of 4€ with script so was cheaper all told than paying 4.50€ to see PT NHS GP in first...

You will find that some basic items that would require a GP's script in UK can be obtained directly from the pharmacist e.g. recent ongoing painful wisdom tooth not eased by ibuprofen, explained...
