I've been to Galveston once, my only memory was the beach is super windy with loads of massive ships on their way to Houston.

I spent a month in New Orleans last May, definitely one of my fave...

Hi!

That's quite a big trip - and as others have said, a lot of miles. I know others have mentioned you should be OK visiting for that length, but just confirming I had a friend recently visit me...
