Thanks Engineer and Photo. I was a little reluctant to use craigslist given its dodgy status over here. The Calgary one is useful too.

Definitely starting to consider Calgary given the picture...

Yep, I'm reading into Calgary at the moment. Although as with Toronto and Vancouver, it's not easy to find a website that covers all the rental options in that area.

I actually haven't, but, I'm not that keen on spending the money and not staying. All for a jump into the 'relative' unknown

Haha well that is reassuring and I'm sure you are right.

Most of the stories revolve around no chance of a job and as you say, boredom.

Sorry, unsure what PR means, I'd go for a working holiday visa as it gives me two years then look to upgrade it if things went well and a citizen of the UK.
