I was referring to what effect is of reducing income taxes on the wealthy while at same time reducing deductions for sales taxes.

The article quoted doesn't seem to consider the different rules...

Hah good question- however government follows different rules than the private sector. Their measurement of productivity seems to be how to mislead the voters, better they are, the more they all make...
