Spreadsheet update: Got the CORP today in the mail, email 2 days ago. However due to changing circumstances I will not actually be moving to Canada now.

Aaah, that's quite helpful, thanks! And it worked on the 5th go (using the method mentioned earlier, apparently city of birth needed to be "City, County". not just "City".

On a side note, hoping...

I see a lot of posts about this linking of accounts (myCIC), Is this a new portal or something?
What are the benefits of using it compared to the normal "Online services - check status" site?

Sent an email to Mississauga yesterday, so going to give it a few days and see if they reply. I guess we could try calling them, but from what I've read that doesn't seem like a particularly fruitful...

In the same boat, been 89 days now and most others seems to have their reply in 30-60 days.

(Yes, spam folder has been thoroughly checked)

How long should one wait before contacting the CIC?

Not gotten an email from CIC saying that the sponsor has been approved (application received 72 days ago :unsure: ), however when logging into ECAS under 'Sponsorship Application(s)' I can see the...
