That's what I thought (border agents disagreed though) and the LVO confirmed it this morning. My ETA is still valid but I don't think I will take the chance.

That was my assumption. Background check I assume to mean police, employment and where you have lived.

Mine took one day to change to Decision Made and get the COPR notification :ohmy: ... I was expecting it to take 2 months!

I am currently in Canada while waiting for PR (6 month visitor stamp, my sponsor has been approved).

While crossing back from the USA I was asked to go inside and talk to a border agent....

You can get them to print it out for you (they *should* be able to do this). Pop over the border and back again or go to the CIC office.

I believe that you are able to get it printed when you land at the airport. I am sure I read some people have done this before.
