Thank you, as always appreciated. That is good to know. I will then start re-applying while on my current one like 6 months before it expires in order to keep it running without interference.

Thanks. So on a practical note, if one wants to keep having a valid Waiver in their passport continuously - what do you do? as it takes, currently, 18-25 weeks for an application to be taken care of,...

That is nice, thanks for sharing. Never, repeat never fly into D.C. Dulles, it will take you forever. on a "quiet day" I was stock there for 2 hours and missed my connection. Dulles is bad.

Thank you for sharing this experience with all of us. Hopefully this is the general way all CBP officers nationwide will act/conduct on waivers.

I saw your message. I have been stuyding this subject myself and as Ian says US and Canada immigration are not linked at all - for foreigners at least. US citizens have some priveleges....

Depends on where you are applying. I am not British citizen, but from Denmark, so I don't know what's it called from UK. From Denmark it was just the local embassy department email. I've heard in UK...
