I paid $3.23 (before discount) at a Shell station in Clearwater this week, and a nearby Mobil one was $3.25. These were the exception since most were at least $2.40 at the time.

The price I pay at the pump (before discounts) is the price on the forecourt sign. I've not seen any bait and switch prices, although there are a couple of gas stations I avoid, since their sign...

Managed to find a Shell station at $1.96. The range of gas prices locally seems to be $1.92 to $2.03.

I use Shell since I get 15c per gallon discount at the pump (thanks T-Mobile), and 10c per...

Took a trip to Fort Lauderdale on Friday. Prices per US gallon.

Saint Petersburg - $1.68
Port Charlotte / Punta Gorda - $1.55
Fort Lauderdale (Hollywood beach area) - $2

Yesterday, driving to work, gas was $2.519, but when I drove home later, it was (and still is) $2.799!
It always goes up just before I need to fill up.

Last week, I paid $2.099, this week it had gone up to $2.499. An increase of 16%.
