Hi, My husband has a waiver of ineligibility that runs out at the end of nov, does the visa need to be valid for the whole of his stay? or just on the day of entry? we are hoping to go for 2 weeks...

Unfortunately not 😕 just a waiting game I'm afraid...my hubby's took 11 months..second waiver also

Had interview jan 5th received email 23rd Nov. Second waiver too..received 2 year visa. Hope you hear something soon

Hi all just wanted to give my time line. Interview on 5th jan 2015 where hubby was told they was giving him a 10 year visa and to expect his passport with visa back within 10 days. Had to request...

Visa was approved on the spot...but it's now in ap. Yes we have the passport back as we requested it, have tried emailing the embassy but just get the automated response back.

He was granted a waiver 212 (a) (2)(a)(1) is this the ineligible or the inadmissible? Many thanks

Not sure actually...I will check tonight! They actually kept his passport at interview and told him he would have it back within 10 days! We've had to request it back though as we travelled to Spain....

They didn't mention waiver...they just said visa. Because he's had a waiver before is that what he will get now?
