I had to have a smart meter put in as we switched to solar,shall be very interested in my first bill *gulp*. May I suggest that you have some of those timer plugs for things you tend to forget...

Well in that case historic values should be applied to the cost of living items too. If you are going to use a mean figure for wage exchange then that rate should also be used for everything.
