Why don't you investigate solar panels to generate electricity. A lot of French farms have them all over their barns and I am sure there is a grant / subsidy available.

Does not work like that.

A good 'poêle' will have two exits (sorties) at the back which then can be split into two......so in effect you have four 'sorties'. You then run tubbing to the four rooms...

Your neighbours are French and can speak fluent French.....big difference. Living in rural land is not so much a problem if you can survive.
