So you're saying that he was a South African citizen who became registered as a Citizen of the U.K. & Colonies (CUKC) in the Northern Rhodesia protectorate in 1957? That is a possible scenario.

Are you telling us that your father was registered as a Citizen of the United Kingdom & Colonies in the United Kingdom around 1957?

He would most likely have been registered, not naturalised,...
