Also irritating are people who open up a bracket (and then never get around to closing it so I have to scan back up through the rest of the paragraph to confirm whether or not I accidentally missed...

Incentivise worked for us.

A little piece of chocolate every time she went in the can.
Then she only gets the treat if she tells us she needs to go and goes in the can.
Then she only gets it...

I've only ever seen this in LA, but occasionally when merging onto the freeway with slow moving traffic there will be guys driving half in the entrance lane, and half in the freeway lane - presumably...
