Incidentally you have an absolute mountain to climb if he fights this. I hope you realise that. Asking people on the internet for advice that won't help isn't the way forward.

It's useless to you. Your local family court could list after 3 months for all we know. Ask your solicitor!

It won't help since it's really dependent on the local court you're filing with. The one I normally use lists after 28 days.

By the way I should question how "top" your London family lawyer is. It's actually a definitive number of weeks (dependent on which court) and they really should have told you. Basic stuff.

Except you asked "Does anyone know how long it takes to get first court date?". That's a specific question only your solicitor could really answer.

It wouldn't involve your daughter if it went through the court, beyond a CAFCASS officer speaking to her very briefly.

Has your ex talked about her living with him? How would her life be improved...
