If you have followed the rules there should be no problem. They are only likely to backdate it if you have wilfully tried to avoid registering or paying. i.e.: if you registered the 4 month rule...

I would not worry about a bank account until you have a job. Firstly banks are not likely to give you an account without evidence of a source of income and address. Also short term accounts will...
