Its quite tough, especially as I have never fallen in to the 'love/hate' UK/Oz thing. Both have good & bad and It would be easy to stay here - Of course we miss friends & family but they can visit,...

I think the Aus city suburbs are generally pretty dead, the bowling clubs and the RSL's are the centres of activity. Get up to date with your scrap-booking skills, hold a tupperware party...
