My latest BB privilege dated 14 June 2018 had the usual BB handwritten on the date of entry stamp. However my neighbour entered via Clark last month and had a fancy sticker denoting his BB status.

Apparently not, as I my neighbour was issued with his first licence without a 12 month visa at the date of his application

New Licence valid for 5 years. Total cost 652PHP for Licence then the medical costs about 250 PHP

I don't think so as it seems that you have to have residence status to obtain a licence. So as a foreigner you are okay for the first three months of your stay. Thereafter it seems to be the 13A visa...

It seems that you have to be a resident via 13A or on the Retirement Scheme. Have not found the reasoning for the change, yet!

When I renewed my Licence in June 2015 only an eyesight test was required. The renewal was at Metro East, Marcos Highway, ditto for my wife who renewed her licence at Marikina LTO. The requirements...
