I have 4 state pensions from Norway, Saudi, Australia and Sweden, all are tax free in both UK and here in the Philippines. My UK state pension is taxable in the UK but it does not breach the tax free...

Anyone can get it, annual cost P17k but if you have SRRV then it is P15k, saving you about 3 cases of beer a year.

Just go to your nearest tax office here and fill in a 1904 form, this will enter you into the Philippine tax system, you will be issued a Philippine TIN at that time.

BPI are stopping transferring money to the Philippines as of 23rd Dec, so there is no advantage of having a BPI account any longer. HSBC has both UK and Ph branches, not sure what their exchange...

10 years on I still have a personal tax allowance and my tax is done by an accountant that would not cheat 1p looking at the questions I get every year.
