I've generally found when agents put in a sold range it sold for the exact midpoint so in your case it would be $420k

The difference here seems to be that after 6 months on the market someone will buy the property at $1k under asking price.

For some reason properties here don't seem to go stale like they would in...

But even if they spend 50% of their income on the mortgage they still have nearly $1000 a week after tax to live on which is more than many have to spend a week including accommodation.
