Just for this year as far as I know! It took a bit longer to get a refund obviously, but I am pretty sure it's only for the year that you landed. :)

My partner tried to e-file using his new SIN number a few months after landing , and it was rejected. He also tried his old SIN that started with a 9. This didn't work either. He talked to revenue...

To get a landing appointment you call the call centre and they will contact the relevant office, who will send you a letter. At least that's how it worked for me with the calgary office. We had to...

Most of the time when we emailed them, if it was a basic question (like "do you have my medicals?") they responded by the next day. They even responded to my "do you even have my application??"...

For us it took 11 days to get our COPR from London to Calgary, so probably a slightly smaller time frame than that.
