So I leave for Toronto on Thursday morning, and thanks to folk who have already posted, I now know that my insurance (Flexicover) doesn't cover manual labour. I guess I'll have to look for other work...

My LOI came in this morning, now I just need to sort out insurance and flights and I can get on my way! :D
(For anyone that's curious, it took about 48 hours from uploading to getting my letter.)...

True! I realize that it's only been five/six working days, and there are a lot of applications to go through, but every time I see someone who sent stuff in after get their letter I get more and more...

Yeah! I paid got my receipt on Friday afternoon, and other folk who did around the same time have their CALs already, so I'm not sure what to make of it all. What about you?

I paid and received my receipt on Friday, my "available balance" was £90 down immediately, but my online banking is showing the payment as having come out on Monday. So do we go by what our bank...

I just recieved a message from the IEC in response to a message I sent them, and after "Dear Mr./Mrs X" it's just blank. Has anyone else had this happen?

That's my best guess! If it was just the people who didn't make it all the way through then that would be another matter, but it's everyone so I don't think it's worth worrying about. Only time will...

I tried to log in to check my messages (I'm at the eligibility assessment stage right now) and I can't log in either, so I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about that.

That was crazy, I thought I was pretty speedy and still ended up in the 1300s!
