One (of my two) Brit A level history teachers was like that.

A fair few of the pupils/students didn't like his approach as they really did want something more packaged with dates/neat periods etc....

Well several of you do make a good case for teaching it I must say.

Not actually having seen an Italian school philosophy course I suppose my worry was that it would train a series of fine minds...

Clearly you had a good school.

Though as I may have said to you privately, the Italian teaching of philosophy to pre university teens puzzles/worries me :)

Thanks for the post mark but it is worth noting that La Sapienza appears to have condemned the Prof.

Hard to figure what the prof was thinking unless he meant to stitch Schettino up/let him hang...

Does Decathlon help Lorna? Though I've never researched it to see if there's differential pricing - ie: charging Italians more to fit in with the Italian way.
