Visit visa – long up to 10 years = 737GBP.

Be careful...this doesn't mean you can stay in the UK for the whole 10 years. The most a visitor can legally stay in the UK on a visitors visa is 6...

Do you have a UK address? If so, just order it on here: https://www.gov.uk/order-copy-birth-death-marriage-certificate.
I'd them ask family to send it on.

It seems that many people say that a UK consular birth certificate helps in the process.
