Seriously though, as my nearest usable airport is Stansted (and the transport links to Southend are all but useless) I don't have a lot of choice unless I want to add a lot more...

Self-inflicted wound...... if people had stuck to the sizes stated there wouldn't have been a problem - but every time they have to pull people out of the line to deal with an oversize bag it delays...
