So back on topic. New rules are that you must have paid into the system for 10 years to get NHS treatment, nothing was said by Jeremy Hunt about residency & I think this is right - but I don't think...

I can assure you there is no fund. Perhaps you should write to Jeremy Hunt & tell him his new policy is wrong, also suggest to him a fund be set up because that way if you live too long your state...

Taking the Sky report at face value for the moment expats with children might have to consider paying voluntary NI for their kids once they are 16 years old which is expensive - I know because I did...

Could be a big issue for children of expats who haven't paid 10 years of NI, I've got 43 years but will make sure I keep a UK base just in case!
