I can only talk from my own personal experiences but 1st priority would be a clear & clean firebreak limit of at least 50m & preferably 100m followed by (CLOSED) fire resistant shutters then fire...

We live in the most south easterly house in the village of Nodeirinho where 11 died in the village & 50+ more within 5km of it & our house was the first hit.

We saw it coming from 30m & baled out...

There are other precautions you can take such as a drencher unit on the roof but you need a really good water source such as a pool, lake or river but with that people you're going to need lots of...

You bet your life it could turn VERY bad indeed........ We were hit by the June 17th firestorm & barely escaped & even with good tar roads we only just made it & 11 died in our village plus 50+ more...

Lots of variables such as type of soil, terrain, coming rainfall & degree of heat in exact locations.
