Though they are asking for scans of my passport, and extra photos. Does everyone get this same request?

No problem, not sure if it's the same thing but the sponsor approval was on the 28th, but also when i log in mycic it says that they started processing my application on the same date.

Ok cool, so they don't send any paper work out for a while then?
So i should wait until i get an e-mail receipt with a reference number and then send the change of address form?

Ok cool, we have joint bank accounts but do all statements online. Though i do have a letter addressed when i got my SIN card plus letters from home. If i go and request statements from the bank now...

What happens if you're IEC runs out and the application is in progress?
I know you can stay on a visitors visa for 6months, what if it's not complete by those 6 months?

How complicated do you guys think it is to apply for common law? Or would you just recommend holding out until we're married. Obviously because of money issues that isn't really an option we want to...
