Nonsense, just because you have a German Passport doesn't mean you'll be taxed in Germany. Yes, if your main residence is still there, you work etc. you'll obviously be taxed in the country. If you...

Well, it's not bad to have a German passport and they only tax you if you are still registered (angemeldet)/ or working in the country. If you are working/living in Germany, they'll tax you...

What I don't understand is that the OP is British and only married to a German. You need to have lived in Germany for 8 years or minimum 7.
