Well also plenty of people renting out in Europe and making money, but the market in Florida is also flooded with properties and location is key. I doubt you'll have a good return if you're right...

Unless you have plenty of money, buying a holiday home in Florida doesn't make sense. Apart from sun and language, flights are expensive, build quality in the lower price range very poor and always...

If you're young, don't buy in Florida. You won't be able to use the property most of the time and will need somebody to rent it out for you. With all the extra costs (taxes/fees) it's just a hassle...
