Too true, it was only after the wife had accepted that I spotted the "dry wedding" bit at the bottom, I knew then that I'd be sat at a table of strangers in silence just waiting to go home.

I wish more weddings would have fruit cake instead of vanilla sponge or carrot cake. Carrot doesn't belong in cake, that's just basic science.

I went to one of these also, turned out there was a family history of alcoholism on one side, but still, how do they expect people to get up and dance without any alcohol? Isn't that what a wedding...

This doesn't even surprise me anymore, but I do like the fact they identify those who don't want to hurt people with guns as 'hippies', I would call them decent human beings, but each to their own.

That's all very well, but school buses in particular down this way stop right at the railway lines, way beyond where the barriers would come down. So if there was a train hurtling around the corner,...
