Scouse and I were just talking about this last night. He loved finnan haddie when he was a kid in Liverpool (except I'm sure he called it finnie haddie :lol:)

Well done, a good frittata is a joy :thumbup: I've only ever used arborio rice to make risotto but the barley one was delicious so I'm going to give that a try.

Lazy and not very healthy tonight. Crispy bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes, with toasted sour dough bread. At least I grilled the tomatoes :angel_smile:

Ok, thanks. I don't do the water test so will try that. I also think I might try cooking smaller batches, I usually fill the wok and things start to stew.
