Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

I tried the online one but yeah, it was rubbish. I didn't even know Panini was still going until I saw the link in my FIFA app.

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

The third place playoff game is one of the most pointless matches in sport. No one cares about it, even the countries competing. As for the FIFA rankings, they are complete b******s anyway, so don't...

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

That would be number 2 for me, although it is a great song especially in the context it was written. Euro 96 was a great tournament!!!! World In Motion would be my number 3!

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

Yeah, I read about the England welcoming committee LOL.
I know it's an old accusation, but you just wonder sometimes how much the players care about playing for the national side. You look at the US...

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

Shake about the result, but that was a great game to watch! Tim Howard was supreme and the US never gave up. England could learn a thing or two from this US team.

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

Saw that link on another forum. Who exactly is that clueless bint???

So Brazil looked pretty poor (and that's probably being kind). Through by the width of a crossbar/ upright! I think it might...

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

USA totally deserved the result there. I'm pretty confident they will get into the group stage the way they are playing. Watching the game with my in laws, I felt quite jealous of them actually! The...

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

I was thinking the same. I think Hodgson will treat it as a friendly and give everyone some tournament experience. He may as well. This is a totally meaningless match win or lose!

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

PMSL! I only admit to wrong by saying they were clearly the better team! That was the booze talking. It was still a positive performance though.

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

England gets behind Italy and they play shite! Who'd have figured!!! Costa Rica had a plan for dealing with the Italians and it worked superbly, especially that high back line! I can see England...

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

I still think both teams will desperately want to avoid Brazil. You gotta think the Brazilians will improve as the competition advances.

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

Agree with this 100%. I saw on another forum that the US game got better viewing figures than the final NBA game. I think to say that the US doesn't care about football is totally wrong. If the US...

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

A great game to watch, really enjoyed that. USA dodged a major bullet, but I gotta say, they're an entertaining team to watch.

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

First half, think the US can be pleased personally (apart from Altidore's injury). They need another goal though, Ghana still looking dangerous.

Re: World Cup - Warning, Spoilers may be here!

It had a bearing, but Portugal just looked rally flat. If they play the same against the US or Ghana, they are probably going home.
