He will be fine - it's in the process now. It's really hard to do especially with a holiday looming but you just need to forget and wait (most people waiting around 6 months but may be longer).

If the immigration agent told them they would be recommended then should be fine. I guess it depends at what point of the interview and what manor he walked out with.

Hey

Yes on the instructions you can either take it to the courier or send back special delivery. As long as you put page 2 in then you are ok. I sent it this morning.

I did email them questioning the transfer time but they said you just get off your first plane and go straight to pre-clearance in a matter of minutes. Makes me nervous though!

Just had my appointment and was in and out within 1 hour.

Started queuing at 7.35am for 8am appointment. 20 people ahead of me. I was allowed my phone and free wifi inside.

Anybody used Dublin pre-clearance with a waiver?

I know they process all visa's but reading their guide they say for US citizens and ESTA can you the self service kiosks for scanning fingers...

I have my appointment next month and a little confused about the VCU-1 form.

Is this only needed if you come back no trace? My ACPO lists everything so not sure if needed?
